A proper auction, sold as seen

Southend Auctions is a trade and public general auction held at Elm Road Storage in Shoeburyness. We sell household goods, furniture, tools, collectables, commercial stock and road-registered vehicles, with regular sales throughout the year. Everything is sold as seen, with no reserve unless the vendor sets one, so buyers find genuine bargains and sellers turn unwanted goods into cash quickly. Payment to vendors is made by BACS on the Friday following the sale.

Drop-off

Thursday and Friday, 9.00 am – 3.00 pm, before the sale. Other times by prior arrangement.

We sell

Household goods, furniture, tools, collectables, commercial stock and road-registered vehicles (V5C, keys and MOT required).

We don’t sell

Chipboard furniture, tyres, asbestos and certain other items — please ask before entering goods.

Payment

Buyers pay by debit or credit card on the day. Vendors are paid by BACS on the Friday following the sale.

Parking

No parking on site. A large car park is available in Vanguard Way.
